Nectar is a dating app designed to help Gen Z and millennials discover meaningful connections through compatibility insights, loveprints, and other unique features. We are building a high-velocity short-form content strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and downloads.
About This Role We are looking for a UGC Creative Operator to turn strategy into videos that perform, not just okay, but viral-level execution. This is a hands‑on, detail‑obsessed role: every millisecond, every frame, and every hook matters.
What You’ll Do:
Write precise, high-converting briefs for creators that outline hooks, pacing, captions, and transitions
Build video skeletons/templates for creators to execute at scale
Review content and provide actionable feedback to ensure maximum performance
Iterate rapidly based on test results and insights from our growth consultant
Keep a laser focus on detail: small timing, framing, or text placement differences can move a video from 100K to 5M views
Ensure all content is platform‑ready (TikTok, IG, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat)
Collaborate with freelance creators and campaign managers to execute campaigns efficiently
Track trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to continually improve performance
Who You Are:
Obsessed with tiny details, timing, and nuances that impact video performance
Savvy short‑form video editor, with deep knowledge of TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts
Expert understanding of short‑form best practices, social media trends, and platform mechanics
A hunger to learn, experiment, and iterate quickly
Passion for testing, measurement, and data‑driven creative decisions
Strong ability to write effective, actionable briefs that creators can execute
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple creators, videos, and accounts simultaneously
Nice to Haves
Experience producing content for apps, Gen Z audiences, or dating/social categories
Familiarity with UGC or influencer-driven campaigns
Prior experience working with agencies or freelance creator networks
Have previously built large followings and/or created viral videos
