Paid Performance Lead – Digital Marketing Specialist
Base pay range:
$35.00/hr – $45.00/hr
A beauty/cosmetics client seeks a versatile Paid Performance Lead (Digital Marketing Specialist) on a contract-to-hire basis to own our full-funnel digital acquisition engine.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Channel Execution:
Plan, build, and optimize end-to-end campaigns across
Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Google Ads
(Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube).
Testing & Optimization:
Develop a structured testing roadmap for creative (hooks/formats) and technical elements (keywords, bid strategies, and audience layering).
Social & Retail Commerce:
Support integration with
TikTok Shop and Meta Shop
while managing Pinterest Shopping and retail media activations (Amazon, Walmart Connect).
Analytics & Reporting:
Analyze weekly performance to drive actionable insights that improve CAC/ROAS. Maintain clean tracking, UTM frameworks, and event configurations.
Creative Collaboration:
Partner with the Creative team on briefs, UGC needs, and high-performing ad concepts based on performance data.
Operational Excellence:
Manage budgets, pacing, and forecasting. Troubleshoot feed issues in Google Merchant Center and maintain overall account hygiene.
Qualifications
Experience:
3–5+ years of hands‑on paid performance experience, specifically within the
beauty or retail
verticals.
Platform Expertise:
Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads (including PMax and Shopping).
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of feed troubleshooting, attribution, and data analytics.
Mindset:
A strategic thinker who is highly detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
Commute:
Ability to work 2–3 days per week in our NYC or Long Island office.
Hourly rate could $35-45/hour or higher depending on experience. Converting to FT in 3-6 months is desired.
