Ascension is actively seeking a creative and results‑driven individual to fill the role of Sr. Marketing Specialist for Ministry Marketing for Ascension Texas, focusing on Pediatric Service Lines. In this pivotal position, you will implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support pediatric specialties and pediatric hospital brand growth.
Key Responsibilities Content Development: Create compelling and relevant content for pediatric service lines, including Pediatric Neurosciences, Neonatology, Cardiovascular and Orthopedics. Campaign Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of targeted content marketing campaigns to promote service line specialties, hospitals and drive patient volume. Assist in decks for socialization of strategy and campaigns with key stakeholders. Utilize creative writing and design skills across digital, traditional media and community outreach. Hospital Promotion: Assist in rollout of campaigns highlighting hospital services and initiatives. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing strategies with broader organizational initiatives. Work closely with service line leaders, physicians and clinical teams to understand strengths and market differentiators. Implement multichannel content marketing approaches to reach target audiences via social media, events, email marketing and advertising. Use data analytics to understand content performance, market trends and patient preferences; derive actionable insights to optimize strategies. Lead content‑driven community engagement and marketing sponsorship events to build positive relationships with local communities.
Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience; or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience; or 5 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience (2 years of leadership or management preferred). Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Design, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. Relevant certifications in content marketing and writing are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in healthcare or hospital marketing. Skills: Strategic thinking, project management, analytical skills, excellent communication, collaboration, impactful writing and design, adaptability, flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Additional skills: Adapt to changing priorities; flex work hours when needed; work in an office or hospital setting several days each week as required.
