Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Designer to serve as a key liaison between the design and production teams. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring accurate communication, garment integrity, and smooth product development from initial concept through final production. If you have strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of apparel construction, and the ability to translate design intent into precise technical packages, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with designers and the production team to develop and maintain production tech packs
Update tech packs with detailed technical sketches, graded measurements, and construction specifications
Manage fittings and oversee all construction and technical issues throughout the development process
Interpret and execute design intent while maintaining garment quality and accuracy
Communicate with customers on submitted styles and revise tech packs to reflect changes and corrections
Apply strong knowledge of pattern making, fit evaluation, and comment writing
Prioritize and delegate daily workload to ensure timely completion of tasks
Assist with additional relevant projects as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer in junior, missy, and teens categories across knits, wovens, and sweaters
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and effectively influence decision‑making
Excellent understanding of the design process, apparel construction, and visual aesthetics
Highly proficient in pattern making, sewing, garment engineering, and garment construction
Capable of working in a fluid, fast‑paced, multi‑channel environment
Solid understanding of manufacturing and product development processes
Strong eye for proportion and detail
