This position is with Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD), North America, an affiliate of Recordati. Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. Support Senior Director of Marketing
Overview The Marketing Specialist supports the implementation of HCP brand strategy across assigned brands, including creative development of marketing materials, tactical execution for personal and non-personal promotion, and management of peer-to-peer activities. This role collaborates on brand-building marketing plans and supports tactics to accelerate growth for key brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Translate brand strategy into effective HCP and patient engagement plans
Support marketing team in development of presentations and promotional materials
Partner with internal teams and external agencies to develop strategically aligned HCP tactics for personal and non-personal promotion, including medical education
Execute HCP and patient promotional materials to align with campaign strategy
Support omni-channel data and analytics initiatives
Manage speaker bureau and peer-to-peer programs
Build and maintain relationships with key HCP customers
Inform competitive planning and strategic efforts
Organize and support presence at society and congress meetings; assist sales force in executing local educational events
Coordinate work with agencies, vendors, and marketing operations for promotional material management
Support market research priorities to yield actionable insights for brand strategy
Collaborate across functional areas (legal, medical affairs, regulatory, MLR review committee)
Manage internal review/approval process for promotional materials
Contribute to annual business plan development and execution
Ensure budget aligns with planned annual spend
Support sales meeting planning and execution
Participate in ad hoc projects as needed
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies, including pharmacovigilance responsibilities
Education and Experience
Minimum BA / BS degree
At least 1+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in combined functional areas such as marketing, new product planning and / or sales required at a pharmaceutical or biotech company or in a pharma partner agency.
Rare disease, Endocrinology and small company experience preferred.
HCP marketing, peer to peer program management, and multi-channel marketing/ sales experience preferred.
Experience developing and executing HCP-facing marketing tactics for personal and non-personal promotion
Knowledge and Skills
Strong marketing acumen: strategy, market research, segmentation, brand positioning, tactical plan development
Passion and empathy for building meaningful experiences with HCPs
Analytical skills to translate data into insights and actions
Graphic and organizational support for presentations; narrative storytelling
Experience with Canva, Power Point, slide making
Creativity and innovation, with analytical problem-solving skills
Omni-channel program management and support
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail
Action-oriented, self-motivated, effective team player with leadership experience
Ability to navigate organization with minimal direction
Flexibility to adapt to changing environments
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Based upon job requirements, employee may be required at times to attend meetings including travel out of state over weekends and nights. Employee must be able to freely operate and travel by car and train/plane modes of transportation. Employee is required to have a valid driver’s license and means of transportation.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to fly via commercial air carrier. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
