Job Responsibilities
As a member of the University’s visual storytelling team, this individual will serve as videographer and lead photographer, responsible for capturing compelling visual assets that highlight the vibrancy of Lander University’s community, events, academics and campus life. Engaging with a wide range of audiences, from students, faculty and staff, to administrators, legislators and the community, they will work closely with a collaborative team of designers, writers and digital media professionals to conceptualize, plan and produce engaging photo and video content across multiple platforms.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree in photography, videography, film production, multimedia journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating the skills and competencies required for the role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating both photography and videography skills.
A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Additional Comments
Expert level proficiency with cinema cameras, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, GoPros, and lighting/audio equipment.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.).
Experience producing photography/videography content for social media, with familiarity with social media trends and platforms.
Familiarity with DAM platforms, such as Photoshelter.
Drone experience and FAA certification is a plus.
