Moxie & Mettle are partnering with a fintech SaaS startup that’s revolutionising how small businesses manage cash flow, payments, and financial planning with a particular focus on helping micro businesses get ahead of Making Tax Digital below the VAT threshold (£90k).

This is a broad, hands‑on Marketing Manager role where you’ll own the full marketing function. Around 50% of your focus will be on driving adoption of the SaaS platform, and 50% on marketing the practice itself, building credibility, trust, and demand within the small business and accountant/bookkeeper ecosystem.

The Role A strategic Marketing Manager role with hands‑on execution, half of the responsibility will be to develop and complete the role out of a SaaS product, whilst the remaining time will focus on raising the profile of the accountancy firm.

You’ll lead end‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution, from brand positioning and demand generation through to performance analytics. You’ll be the voice of the brand, crafting messaging that resonates with entrepreneurs, bookkeepers, and accountants, while supporting growth through partners and resellers.

This is a stand‑alone marketing manager role with access to external agencies for specialist support, such as PR or SEO.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and execute a multi‑channel marketing strategy aligned with commercial goals Define customer personas and map buyer journeys across small business owners and accountancy partners Own the marketing roadmap, budget, and KPIs

Campaigns & Content Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across email, paid media, SEO, and social Lead content creation including blogs, landing pages, case studies, and thought leadership Work closely with product and sales teams to align messaging and go‑to‑market activity Build brand awareness and authority for the practice alongside product marketing

Digital & Performance Marketing Optimise website and funnel performance to increase conversions Manage paid acquisition channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) and retargeting Use A/B testing and analytics to continuously improve campaign ROI

Brand, Partnerships & Community Shape brand identity and tone of voice to build trust with small business audiences Build relationships with accountants, bookkeepers, communities, influencers, and media Plan and deliver webinars, events, and co‑marketing initiatives

Team Manage external agencies and freelancers (design, PR, SEO) Partner closely with product, sales, and customer success teams Report on performance metrics and insights to leadership

About You Previous experience in

B2B marketing , fintech/financial services, accountancy or professional services Any experience of working with a SaaS product would be helpful Proven success marketing to

small businesses or professional audiences Strong working knowledge of

HubSpot, GA4, SEMrush , or similar tools Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills Data‑driven, analytical, and commercially minded Comfortable with owning the marketing – you’ll share in the excitement of upscaling a business and rolling out a new product.

Nice to haves Experience launching products or services in new markets Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or accountancy sectors Experience working with partner or reseller‑led growth models

Salary up to £35k‑45k + bonus

Reporting to Managing Partner

Location Bristol – must be happy to be five days a week in the office for the first three months while getting to grips with the business.
