Job Overview BILL is seeking a skilled
Email Marketing Manager
to lead campaign and newsletter execution for both prospects and existing customers. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent project management, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
You will manage the full email production cycle—from planning and building to QA and deployment—while also supporting lifecycle and nurturing programs as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, and deploy prospect and customer email campaigns and newsletters.
Collaborate with design, campaign, and analytics teams to ensure high-quality, timely execution.
Own and maintain the email calendar; coordinate timelines and workflows.
Edit and troubleshoot email content using basic
HTML/CSS .
Manage segmentation, list pulls, and audience targeting.
Monitor and report on key email metrics (open, click, conversion rates).
Conduct A/B tests and recommend optimizations.
Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and email best practices.
Support lifecycle, onboarding, or nurture flow development when bandwidth allows.
Must-Have Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on email marketing experience
(B2B or SaaS preferred).
Proficiency with
Marketo (required)
and experience with Customer.io, Braze, Inflection, or similar tools.
Proven experience building, QA’ing, and deploying emails end-to-end.
HTML/CSS skills for editing and troubleshooting email code.
Strong project management abilities with experience managing multiple campaigns.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience designing or collaborating on email templates in
Figma .
Understanding of deliverability, accessibility, and email design best practices.
Exposure to lifecycle, onboarding, or nurture program development.
