Department Info The Terumo Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and minimal invasive interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions and an Access and Closure portfoliofor Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).

This position will cover the whole TIS portfolio, including Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Intervention and Interventional Oncology.

Job Summary In this position you'll be part of the Terumo Europe META organisation; covering the Interventional System business in the Middle-East, Türkiye and Africa. The META region focusses on the sales of our products through distributors. The Marketing Manager will focus specifically on the Turkish market and will report into the META Group Marketing Manager, currently held by Nadim Geara. The role reports dotted into the Business Unit Director for Türkiye. In this position you have peers responsible for the South, West & East Sub-Sahara Africa and Middle-East, North and West Africa regions.

As ourMarketing Manager you will plan, direct and control all marketing activities for the TISproduct portfolio, design the marketing strategy and objectives andcollaborateclosely with our Sales organisation (internal & external) todrive profitability for our interventionalproduct range.This includes organising product launches, evaluate market share and pricing strategy, regular field visits, support of marketing and clinical activities and regular reporting to senior management.

Job Responsibilities 1. Strategic Marketing

Develop and implement marketing strategies for Turkey and the TIS portfolio, aligned with EMEA objectives.

Analyze market, customer, and competitor data to maintain competitive intelligence and improvedecision quality.

Prepare annual product and marketing plans, integrating commercial strategies for Middle East, North & West Africa.

Drive portfolio growth through value-based solutions and strategic planning.

2. Promotional and Campaigns

Create promotional tools and campaigns in collaboration with Marketing Communications and Digital teams.

Organize & attend congresses, symposia, and workshops (local and regional)

Manage forecasting & inventory for the portfolio and coordinate withsupply chain teams

Strengthen Terumo’s brand image through effective communication with external partners.

3. Cascade and Performance

Cascade marketing strategies to local sales teams and distributors; monitor performance and KPIs.

Track sales results, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance in complaint and recall processes; report trends proactively.

Collaborate across teams to launch products andmaximize synergies.

4. Training Support

Align training initiatives with portfolio objectives.

Provide product and market expertise to enhance sales force capabilities.

Act as product specialist for commercial teams.

5. New Product Development

Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Contribute ideas for new products and manage pre-launch activities.

Develop and execute launch plans to optimize market share.

Support post-market surveillance in collaboration with Regulatory and Medical Affairs.

Profile Description

University degree or comparable education in marketing, or proven relevant experience

Practical experience in all marketing strategy, concepts and techniques including product launches in Turkey

Deep knowledge and understanding of Medical Devices sector

Former Sales experience preferred

Good digital multichannel experience

Good project management skills and a track record delivering projects within budget and timeline

Proven problem-solving skills

Excellent presentation skills and strong ability to communicate effectively – ability to articulate complex viewpoints and arguments with clarity and purpose, at all levels of the organisation

Able to work in a dynamic, multionational matrix organization

Willigness to work collaboratively across the organization and with others to reach results/resolution

Excellent ability to function in a self-directed manner with a high degree of autonomy

Strong capability to engage others and to establish strong collaborative relationships and network with the Sales and Back-Office Teams

Proficient in Turkish. Very good working knowledge of English (written, read and spoken). Other languages can be an advantage
