We are currently looking for an Experienced Food Expeditor for Deck 84. #1 Winner of a Mid‑Sized Company from the Sun‑Sentinel "Top Place to Work 2020".

Immediate opening: Experienced Food Expeditor (Expo). Apply in Person Monday - Friday 2 - 4pm (or send in a resume if you cannot stop by). Deck 84, 840 East Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.
Position Summary To ensure quality and proper presentation in a timely manner. Food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste. As an Expo, you will be responsible for ensuring all food that is plated is accurate, presentation is perfect and the quality is outstanding before sending the food to the Guest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and expedite food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Ensure all dishes are prepared correctly, plated consistently, garnished properly and meet quality standards
Maintain clear and professional communication with cooks, servers, and management
Prioritize tickets and manage timing to ensure prompt and accurate food delivery
Maintain strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and service areas
Support the kitchen team during high-volume service while staying calm under pressure
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred
High energy level and stamina required
Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong verbal communication skills
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Commitment to excellent customer service—treating patrons like family
Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other job-related materials
Ability to use the company’s POS system
Physical Demands The Expeditor is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:
Remain standing for extended periods of time in a work area that has an elevated air temperature
Reaching, bending, pushing/pulling, lifting, and squatting, up to 30 lbs., for short distances
Frequent communication with Managers and Team Members. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
