Summary of Position The Digital Print Operator reports directly to the Plant Manager and Director of Maintenance at the Fort Lawn location. This is a skilled and detail-oriented
position that
will have experience operating wide-format and narrow digital printers with an eye for color, precision, and quality. Experience in wallpaper printing and packaging is highly desirable.
Responsibilities / Duties
Operate and maintain wide-format digital printers (e.g., Cannon, HP Latex, EFI, etc.)
Prepare and load digital files for printing according to job specifications.
Calibrate printers and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate color matching, alignment, and print resolution.
Trim, cut, and finish printed materials as needed (e.g., wallpaper panels, etc.)
Maintain clean and organized workstations and follow all safety protocols.
Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Handle custom print jobs, including specialty substrates like wallpaper, cotton, etc.)
Maintain accurate production records and inventory levels of inks, media, and supplies.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Experience with wallpaper printing (a strong plus) . Previous experience operating digital printing equipment (required)
Familiarity with RIP software and print file setup
Understanding color management, print resolution, and substrate handling.
Additional Skills
Ability to work with precision, ensuring high-quality results.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with teams.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods, with the ability to bend, squat, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
