Reporting to:

Head of Marketing & Communications

Overview A Communications Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and creating both internal and external communications for RLB North America. In this role, the individual will play a critical part in shaping and delivering key messages that reflect RLB’s brand, mission, and values while fostering strong engagement with internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications:

Develop and distribute engaging internal communications, including drafting e‑mail copy, designing HTMLs, and sharing announcements and updates, to ensure employees are informed and aligned with RLB goals.

Collaborate with leadership to draft internal memos, talking points, and presentations.

Manage intranet content, ensuring it is current, relevant, and user‑friendly.

External Communications:

Assist in creating and executing external communication strategies to enhance brand awareness.

Draft press releases, website news posts, social media content, and marketing collateral.

Support media relations, including drafting copy and quotes and liaising with the PR representative.

Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies.

Brand Alignment:

Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all internal and external communications.

Support the development and maintenance of branded templates and resources relating to internal and external communications.

Project Coordination:

Coordinate communication initiatives and campaigns across departments, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

Track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, offering insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field or related work experience.

2+ years of experience in a communications role or similar position.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management, content management systems, and email marketing software.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in creating and managing internal and external communications campaigns.

Familiarity with analytics tools to track communication performance.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Indoor office environment. May require work on‑site location when necessary.

Equipment used includes computers and standard office machines.

Essential physical tasks include: the ability to work on a computer and the ability to answer and speak on a telephone.
