Sales and Marketing Representative HF Sinclair is seeking a remote Sales and Marketing Representative based in Arizona. In this role, you will conduct intermediate to high level, semi‑complex marketing assignments for assigned petroleum products with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Maintain and further develop current client base and pursue opportunities to expand it.

Monitor daily assigned petroleum product inventories and pricing and implement pricing strategies.

Assist management with developing marketing, sales, and pricing strategies, daily pricing decisions, and negotiating sales contracts.

Research market conditions and communicate findings to management.

Assist with crisis management in response to supply interruptions, including production, loading, rack, or transportation issues.

Research and resolve invoicing and loading issues related to sale of assigned petroleum products.

Evaluate assigned petroleum products (if necessary) and maintain compliance requirements.

Represent the company at industry functions and association meetings.

Contact existing and prospective wholesale distributors, bulk buyers, and/or feedstock suppliers and build business relationships.

Coordinate with company wholesale or bulk buyers to achieve marketing goals and objectives for assigned petroleum product and day‑to‑day sales.

Coordinate with product development and refinery to produce specialized products for a client’s specific needs.

Develop new products and markets for specialized petroleum products.

Experience & Education

Minimum 3 years of experience specifically related to the position.

Preferred experience in assigned petroleum product.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in a technical or business related field.

Preferred educational level: MBA with an undergraduate degree in chemistry or a related technical field.

Required Skills

Self‑starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives.

Good creative, organizational, and analytical skills.

Strong crisis‑management skills.

Advanced interpersonal skills and effective communication, written and verbal.

Ability to perform intermediate level mathematical calculations.

Ability to work with Microsoft products.

Depending on assignment, ability to understand the chemical/technical characteristics of specialized petroleum products.

Preferred Skills

Understanding of supply, distribution, and refining procedures.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility None.

Work Conditions Office‑based with up to 75% travel by land and air required. Periodic work in industrial/petroleum refinery environments. Ability and willingness to relocate.
