Our Support team is dedicated to shaping engaging narratives, fostering a connected culture, and ensuring organizational effectiveness across our operations.

Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and creative thinker with an aptitude for understanding the restaurant business and its audience. As the Communications & Content Manager, you will lead communications initiatives autonomously while collaborating across functional teams. You will craft and execute communication strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. From curating internal content to driving recognition programs and steering the brand voice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our narrative.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications:

Develop, implement, and manage cohesive communication plans across channels including email, text, newsletters, intranet, and social media.

Content Creation:

Produce compelling written and visual content that aligns with our brand voice and drives engagement.

Content Management:

Maintain, organize, and update intranet content while partnering cross-functionally to ensure information is accessible, relevant, and aligned with business priorities.

Project Management:

Lead select Operations initiatives, including system rollouts, by overseeing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and executing effective communication strategies.

Event Planning & Coordination:

Support planning and execution of company events such as Cultural and Heritage Month celebrations and annual conferences.

Graphic Design & Multimedia:

Create high-quality visuals and perform intermediate video editing in alignment with brand guidelines.

Learning & Development Support:

Partner with HR and Field Training Managers to design and evolve learning content that supports operational excellence and field readiness.

Crisis Management & Counsel:

Respond to media inquiries, support crisis communications, and advise senior leadership on messaging strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

Establish feedback loops and routinely assess communication tools and strategies to optimize content and enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft content aligned with executive voice, brand guidelines, and business objectives.

Strong project management capabilities and organizational skills.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and partner across departments.

Adaptability to evolving digital communication landscapes.

Resourceful problem solver with strong troubleshooting abilities.

Technical proficiency in MS Office 365 (including SharePoint and MS Forms), social media platforms, graphic design tools, video editing tools, and basic web design/HTML.

Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or related tools.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in communications and diverse content development for remote workforces.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.

Location: Overland Park, KS office preferred.
