Business Development Manager, Remarketing – Fresno, CA
Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is a premium commercial truck dealership offering comprehensive sales, service, and financial solutions. We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to prospect and secure new marketing and remarketing opportunities, building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and generate sales, developing strong relationships with truckers, owner/operators, fleets, and companies.
Research market trends, create strategic plans, and achieve sales targets.
Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to customers and key decision-makers.
Draft sales quotes and supporting paperwork timely.
Submit credit applications and introduce financing options.
Maintain product knowledge, inventory, and market trends.
Screen potential business deals for alignment with company strategy and customer qualification.
Negotiate and close deals, coordinating requirements and integrating with operations.
Protect confidential information, uphold organization reputation, and mentor junior salespeople.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Professional, clear communication (written and verbal).
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Organizational and time‑management abilities.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Computer proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Experience developing and executing sales strategies.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related experience preferred.
3‑5 years of sales experience; consistently meeting competitive sales goals.
Ability to travel for new hire training.
Compensation
High‑Earning Commission Plan – up to and exceeding $237,000 annually.
Commission guarantees for the first 3 months.
Base pay $16.90–$20.50 per hour.
