The Vibe: At Marketing Mojito, we don't make 10-minute corporate documentaries nobody watches. We create thumb-stopping content for high-growth brands. We are looking for a Video Editor who understands that the first 3 seconds determine the success of the video. If you can edit to a beat, animate kinetic typography, and use AI to speed up your workflow, we want you. The Mission: You are the final storyteller. Your cuts, sound design, and pacing will decide if the audience stays or scrolls. What You’ll Actually Do: Short-Form Mastery:
Edit high-energy Reels and YouTube Shorts. You know what "safe zones" are and why "retention rate" matters. Motion & Text:
You don’t just cut video; you add kinetic typography, dynamic subtitles, and motion graphics (After Effects) to keep viewers engaged. Sound Design:
You treat audio as 50% of the video. You know how to use SFX (whooshes, risers, pops) to emphasize moments. AI-Enhanced Workflow:
Use tools like Descript, Auto-Captions, or Generative Fill to cut down boring tasks and focus on creativity. Color & Polish:
Basic color grading (Lumetri) to make footage pop. The Toolkit: Speed:
Proficiency in CapCut for quick social edits is a massive plus. Portfolio:
A showreel or link to an Instagram/YouTube page where we can see your cuts.(No portfolio = No interview). Why Marketing Mojito? Creative Freedom:
