Responsibilities
Community Liaison
Northeastern Pennsylvania region and Southern NY territory.
Shift: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑4:00 pm with occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119‑bed inpatient behavioral health hospital located near State College, PA, providing comprehensive services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults for over 35 years. (Visit www.themeadows.net.)
The Community Liaison represents the facility to the community, interested persons and potential referral sources within the identified market service area, assists in the organization and implementation of the marketing plan, and supports the Director of Business Development. The role involves daily travel to meet with hospitals, crisis centers, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals and other community resources; staying current on competitors; and overseeing referral tracking.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a tracking system for admissions via professional referrals.
Acknowledge admissions to referral sources and provide necessary information promptly; maintain communication logs and distribute relevant information.
Address specific requests and needs of referral sources, including admission procedures, program descriptions, and treatment plans.
Ensure timely delivery of discharge summaries to referral sources; maintain communication with potential referral resources for business development.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Health and Human Services or related field.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record and dependable transportation.
Ability to travel 90–95% of the role.
Experience in public relations, business development/marketing with measurable results (Healthcare marketing preferred; Social Media management preferred).
Strong oral communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience.
Creativity in developing marketing methods to deliver service messages effectively to referral sources.
