Blue Rock Insurance Services is a full-service insurance agency offering products and services to both businesses and individuals. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer. This position will help drive the growth of our agency, serving the states of New York and New Jersey. The position’s primary duty is the independent work of selling property & casualty insurance.
Role and Responsibilities
Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
makes sales presentations and closes sales
Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements
Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources
Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty
Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases
Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals
Provide customers with additional information about new products and services
Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified time-frame
Requirements
NYS/NJ Licensed Property and Casualty (P&C)
1-3 years brokerage, consulting, insurance, or corporate environment CPCU is preferred
Strong Customer Service and Relationship-building skills
Problem-solving and Decision-making skills
High level of professionalism in dealing with customers and co-workers
Communication and writing skills
Bilingual (Preferably Mandarin as we are located in the Asian community)
