*Note: This remote position is open to all applicants located in Latin America, including Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, etc. It is an Independent Contractor role.

egelloC is a leading coaching company dedicated to guiding students and families through the college admissions process. Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence needed to secure their dream college acceptances. We take pride in fostering a dynamic, collaborative, and results-driven culture, where every team member plays a crucial role in helping families navigate this important milestone.

The Opportunity We're looking for a sharp, resourceful performance marketer to own paid acquisition and funnel execution for a college admissions coaching company serving California families.

This is not a "set up some ads and wait" role. You'll be deep in the trenches - writing copy, building campaigns, optimizing funnels, analyzing data, and iterating fast. You'll work directly with experienced direct response marketers who've built and scaled this business, and you'll have real ownership over outcomes.

If you're hungry to grow, think strategically, and want to sharpen your skills in high-ticket lead generation - this is your seat.

Our Growth & Trajectory We help families navigate admissions to top U.S. universities (UC Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, Ivy League). Our coaching programs range from $3,500 to $15,000, and we've built a $4M/year business through Meta advertising and direct response funnels.

Our goal for 2026: $10M - more than doubling the company. The ambition is real, and the work will be hard.

We're a small, focused team. No bureaucracy. No pointless meetings. Just smart people doing work that matters.

What You'll Own Paid Media (Meta Ads)

Build, manage, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns across cold traffic, retargeting, and conversion objectives

Test creatives, audiences, and offers systematically

Monitor performance daily; make data-driven scaling decisions

Manage $70K/month in ad spend immediately, scaling to $200K/month as we grow

Copy & Creative

Write high-converting ad copy using AI tools (Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc) and direct response principles

Develop creative angles, hooks, and messaging variations

Brief designers on ad creative needs; direct the visual strategy

Build and optimize landing pages, lead magnets, and nurture sequences in Go High Level

Improve conversion rates across the funnel (lead → call booked → sale)

Launch new funnels under leadership guidance

Analytics & Reporting

Diagnose underperformance and recommend fixes

Maintain clean reporting across our analytics stack (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Hyros, etc.)

What Success Looks Like First 30 Days:

Fully onboarded on our campaigns, funnels, and tracking systems

Running day-to-day campaign management independently

Completed first round of creative tests

First 90 Days:

Improved at least one key metric (CPL, conversion rate, or call booking rate)

Launched and optimized one brand new funnel

Established a consistent testing cadence for copy and creative

First 6 Months:

Demonstrating clear ownership of paid acquisition with minimal oversight

Contributing strategic ideas (not just executing tasks)

Ready to take on expanded responsibilities as the team grows

Who Thrives Here Required:

2+ years managing Meta Ads with a minimum of $20K/month in ad spend

Experience in

info-products, coaching, or education

- specifically book funnels, course funnels, trip-wire funnels, webinar funnels, or training funnels (e-commerce experience is not relevant)

Strong understanding of direct response copywriting and consumer psychology

Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to accelerate work

Analytical thinker - you can read data, spot patterns, and make decisions

Fluent English (written and verbal)

Self-directed and reliable in a fully remote, async environment

Preferred:

Familiarity with Go High Level or similar funnel builders

Experience with high-ticket offers ($3,000+)

Traits That Matter:

You come with batteries included - you figure things out without hand-holding.

You're tech-savvy and learn new tools fast.

You think before you act. You ask "why" before "how."

You're organized and can manage your own time across multiple priorities.

You're hungry to learn, grow, and build something - not just collect a paycheck.

This Role is NOT For You If...

You only have e-commerce or drop shipping experience

You prefer to be told exactly what to do every day

You're not comfortable with ambiguity or fast iteration

You're looking for a "chill" job with minimal accountability

Working Style

Fully remote

Async communication via Slack and ClickUp with regular weekly Zoom calls to check in

Flexible hours with some overlap needed for Pacific Time (U.S.) and Lisbon Time

Growth Path This role starts as an individual contributor with heavy execution. But we're building toward $10M, which means the team will grow, and so can you.

Year 1–2: Master the Craft Own paid acquisition on Meta end-to-end. Develop deep expertise in high-ticket education marketing. Work directly with senior leadership and absorb years of direct response knowledge. Prove you can think, execute, and deliver results.

Year 2–3: Expand Your Scope Take ownership of additional paid channels - LinkedIn, YouTube, and beyond. Become the go-to person for all things paid acquisition across the company.

Year 3+: Lead the Team Step into a leadership role overseeing a team of specialists - if that’s a path you want to follow. Shape strategy, develop people, and drive the marketing engine as we scale.
