Position
Part‑time Interior Designer/Home Stager (Creative Looks Stylist) based in Hudson Valley HQ, Highland, NY.
Pay $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr (actual pay depends on skills and experience).

About the Company Cathy Hobbs Design Recipes is a top‑ten U.S. home staging company and a leader in the Tri‑State area. The firm specializes exclusively in real‑estate staging, short‑term rental design, and vacation home styling. With an expansive warehouse and a newly‑built 12,500‑sq‑ft state‑of‑the‑art Design Center, the company is expanding to include curation and design of short‑term rentals in the Hudson Valley.
Responsibilities
Stage Hudson Valley projects for residential and commercial clients.
Organize accessories in the Design Center, including shelving, kitting, and bagging.
Wash and fold linens; print and frame artwork as needed.
Shop for accessories and home‑decor items at local stores; assist with procurement from wholesale vendors.
Assist Manhattan design teams with accessories and staging support.
Maintain impeccable organization of the new warehouse/showroom.
Conduct marketing and outreach efforts.
Perform general administration tasks as needed.
Lead Hudson Valley stagings and installations.
Manage creative looks and oversee the inventory and accessories library.
Execute all looks for the Manhattan and Hudson Valley design teams.
Participate in the design center duties and uphold the brand’s quality standards.
Job Details
Part‑time position.
Location: Hudson Valley Headquarters/Warehouse/Design Center on 4 acres in Highland, NY.
Staging locations: Hudson Valley, Westchester, and the Berkshires.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
Visual merchandising experience in home décor (not fashion) is a plus.
AAS or BFA in Interior Design (strongly preferred).
Excellent organizational skills.
Interest in home staging and interior design (a plus).
Basic ability to assemble furniture.
Basic visual merchandising, styling, and/or prop styling skills.
Location Requirement Must be Hudson Valley based (Ulster or Dutchess County) or live within 15‑45 minutes of Highland, NY.
