MWH Constructors, a global leader in heavy civil construction of water and wastewater facilities, is seeking a *mid‑level Marketing Assistant or Graphic Designer* to join our marketing and proposal team in Broomfield, CO. The role collaborates with proposal managers and senior leadership to create impactful layouts, templates, and graphics for statements of qualification (SOQs), proposals, interview slide decks, and other print/digital marketing materials. The Marketing Assistant or Graphic Designer reports to the Senior Pursuit/Marketing Manager and supports marketing efforts (website, social media, event/internal materials, etc.) as well as the business development department (proposals, interviews, one‑pages, etc.). The ideal candidate is organized, multitasks effectively, thrives in a collaborative environment, and contributes creative ideas for a variety of content.
Responsibilities
Create and prepare graphics, images, and other visual elements for layouts for proposals and external marketing items as well as internal communications and templates.
Oversee production of printed documents to ensure high quality deliverables.
Work closely with presentation teams to create graphics, images, and other visual elements for PowerPoint presentations, display boards, and other collateral as needed.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop, maintain, and improve MWH’s digital and social media presence by creating engaging content and supporting marketing efforts.
Develop and manage content for advertisements as needed.
Organize and maintain digital assets (photos, graphics, InDesign/PDF files, fonts, templates, custom libraries, etc.).
Support conference and trade‑show participation and sponsorships, including designing, ordering, and managing content for booths, pop‑ups, boards, posters, presentations, collateral materials, promotional giveaways, etc.
Support project and company award submissions, including content and graphic development to meet required deadlines.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, graphic design, or proposal capacity.
2‑year or 4‑year degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Detail‑oriented team player with the ability to multitask.
Capable of producing high‑quality deliverables under strict deadlines.
Social media savvy (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication, outgoing, and articulate in‑person and on the phone.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
Experience with the creation of interactive media and graphics for online content.
Prior experience with print production (tabs, full‑bleed pages, wrapped binders, etc.).
Experience with web design and the ability to make changes and revisions to our website (using WordPress+).
Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
