About the Role We’re seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team and help transform engineering concepts into precise, manufacturable designs. This is a hands‑on role where creativity meets technical expertise, and you’ll play a key part in driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate 3D CAD models and assemblies in collaboration with Mechanical Engineers.
Utilize additive manufacturing technologies (FDM, SLS) to produce prototypes and validate design concepts.
Prepare and maintain detailed technical drawings for components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Assign and manage part numbers for components to support documentation and inventory control.
Apply industry standard design practices, including material selection, tolerance analysis, and manufacturability considerations.
Ensure all components are fully detailed and complete, with no unintended modifications.
Support the team with other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience and Education
Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design.
1 year of experience in Mechanical Design OR internship experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Understanding the working principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is required.
Physical Demands
Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, or hear.
Position may involve repetitive movements.
Must occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Job Type: Full‑time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
