The Effector Subsystems Products (ESP) Team provides support to develop and produce electronics for products across the Raytheon portfolio. Our core electrical engineering technologies include

RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, and Power . We partner with various departments to deliver our electrical products to our end customers.

What You Will Do The Electronics Team is searching for a candidate to work in a multi-discipline production environment. This role will work within a cross‑functional and cross‑discipline team of engineers through product development and production. The Electrical Production Test Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) provides both technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments.

Lead technical troubleshooting of production hardware and test equipment failures occurring at Raytheon factories to include root cause investigation and corrective action implementation

Review and evaluate designs, system requirements, and test data to resolve production issues

Review and modify subsystem requirements and test plans

Act as a subject matter expert (SME), Responsible for preparing engineering reports and presentation packages to present to peers, program leadership, and government customers

Work within a multi‑disciplined team including members from Electronics Hardware, Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Systems, Test, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality

Collaboration with both Functional and Program leadership as well as Customer and Suppliers

This role will serve as both mentor and mentee

Assignments may require some travel, including foreign travel

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience

Experience as an IPTL or REA role in the defense industry

Experience in electrical analysis, electrical test, measurement and/or integration of electrical products or systems and experience in low level electronics troubleshooting

Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in project guidance, systems engineering and architecture and have a desire to grow into a higher level of authority

Experience with failure investigation, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation

Experience with requirements verification test planning and implementation

Current or prior experience with Strategic Missile Defense or Naval Power systems development and/or production

Previous experience with MATLAB tools

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
