Acuren is currently recruiting for a Visual Inspector/API 510/570/653 for an

EMBEDDED

role in Decatur, AL.

Responsibilities

At the direction of client, perform visual and non‑destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.

Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.

Provide technical recommendations for repair, re‑rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment as required for safe operation.

Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.

Provide guidance on application of non‑destructive examination techniques.

Fully comply with Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in safety initiatives.

Willingness to travel if needed.

Requirements

Certification of API 510/570/653.

5–10 years of experience or 2+ years of on‑site experience.

Additional CWI certification is a plus.

In‑depth knowledge of API 510/570/653 and ASME standards.

Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.
