Role Description Degree Wellness Pearland is seeking an energetic and people‑first Studio Manager to lead pre‑sales and ongoing membership growth for our new studio. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is passionate about health and wellness, connects easily with people, and knows how to turn great conversations into long‑term members. The Studio Manager plays a key role in driving founding membership sales, growing and retaining memberships, and maintaining a consistently high‑quality customer experience from day one. Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Sales, Sales & Growth (Primary Focus)
Lead pre‑sales efforts and sell founding memberships prior to studio opening Drive ongoing membership sales, upgrades, and retention once the studio opens Follow up with leads and first‑time visitors to convert interest into memberships Track and manage sales KPIs using CRM and dashboards Serve as the on‑site brand ambassador, building strong partnerships and relationships within the local community Ensure an exceptional customer experience from first visit through long‑term membership Use energy, authenticity, and active listening to build trust and rapport with clients Educate guests on wellness services including infrared sauna, cryotherapy, and IV therapy Address questions or concerns professionally to drive satisfaction and retention Studio Operations & Day‑to‑Day Leadership
Oversee daily studio flow, including opening/closing procedures and front‑of‑house operations Lead by example on shift, modeling strong customer engagement and service standards Partner closely with staff to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction Support local marketing initiatives, partnerships, and studio events Qualifications
2+ years of experience in retail, fitness, wellness, or med spa environments, with at least 1 year in a team management role Strong sales track record, with experience driving membership sales, hitting targets, tracking KPIs, and celebrating wins Genuine passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with the ability to connect authentically with clients Energetic, charismatic, relationship‑focused leadership style Comfortable using POS and CRM systems (Mindbody or similar preferred) Flexible availability, including weekends Solutions‑oriented mindset with strong communication and follow‑through Competitive base salary + commission and discretionary performance bonuses tied to sales Paid time off Opportunity to help launch and grow a new wellness studio from the ground up Supportive, hands‑on ownership with clear goals and expectations
