American Girl Restaurant Food Expeditor (Part-Time)
Join Mattel, Inc. as an American Girl Restaurant Food Expeditor (Part-Time) in the AG Retail Flagship Chicago location. This role supports the mission of celebrating girls by providing exceptional service.
Base pay range $17.00/hr - $19.50/hr
What Your Impact Will Be
Treat all guests equally and respectfully. Service all guests with proper etiquette and AG standards, including delivering food and beverages, upselling, and maintaining tables.
Initiate conversations with customers and provide personalized attention. Display a friendly demeanor and passion for a child‑friendly environment.
Use sound judgment with challenging service situations, react quickly and professionally, and involve a supervisor when needed.
Manage special requests and birthday information accurately and timely. Assist with parties and store-wide events, stocking supplies, and other projects as requested.
Follow food safety guidelines, including proper labeling, FIFO, temperature control, and avoiding cross‑contamination.
Have knowledge and understanding of local and state health sanitation laws.
Follow company safety and sanitation guidelines for personal hygiene.
What We’re Looking For
SERV Safe certification, preferred.
1 to 2 years of experience, preferred.
Experience working with children, preferred.
Impeccable customer service skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
