Position Summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth for the urgent care network through the development, acquisition, and management of key provider, employer, and community partnerships. This role identifies new business opportunities, strengthens referral channels, and ensures high levels of client satisfaction across corporate, occupational health, and community accounts. Ideally, has experience in the North Jersey Healthcare and specifically Urgent Care Market.
Essential Functions
Assist in the development, execution, and continuous refinement of strategic and tactical business development plans that support network expansion, revenue growth, and brand awareness
Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with local physicians, medical practices, health systems, and referral sources to drive patient volume and service utilization
Develop partnerships with community stakeholders including schools, townships, school boards, labor boards, municipal leaders, and state, county, and local government entities
Engage companies of all sizes to promote urgent care, occupational medicine, and wellness service lines
Proactively target, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities, including employer contracts, workers’ compensation programs, occupational health services, and corporate wellness initiatives
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing accounts; coordinate service requests, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction, engagement, and contract retention
Monitor service quality, gather client feedback, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to implement improvements that enhance customer satisfaction
Represent the organization at statewide, county, and local events, including chamber of commerce functions, health fairs, employer events, community meetings, and AHS-sponsored programs
Support marketing and public relations initiatives to increase visibility and promote service offerings
Prepare, coordinate, and submit proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs/RFQs for employer services, municipal contracts, and partnership opportunities
Maintain accurate documentation of outreach activities, pipeline development, account status, and revenue performance in CRM or designated tracking system
Perform additional responsibilities as needed
Compensation
Medical through Cigna (multiple tiers depending on coverage and cost desires)
Vision and Dental through Principal & VSP

Requirements
Must be willing to travel throughout the state of NJ for events and clients
