Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience using AutoCAD to design Civil and Mechanical piping for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pump Stations. You will work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD Designers to produce 2D drawings using Autodesk software.
Work Setting:

Key Responsibilities
Prepare site layouts, enlarged plans, sections, and details for various civil site and process mechanical systems.
Be a proactive team player to ensure projects stay on time and budget.
Communicate clearly with team members to execute markups and understand design details.
Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards.
Continuously learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other team members.
Required Qualifications
Completion of a technical school CAD design certificate or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Engineering Design, Drafting, or related field.
Experience with AutoCAD 2D.
Basic understanding of Civil site piping and associated materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary groups.
Effective communication skills with attention to technical details.
