Senior Architectural Designer / Project Manager

– Full‑time hybrid/studio position in New York, NY. Salary: $105,000 – $140,000 annually.
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Designer / Project Manager with F&B and/or restaurant design experience to lead design projects and manage teams.
Responsibilities
Manage design team with Studio Leader and senior leadership to ensure design intent and overall success of multiple projects simultaneously.
Oversee multiple projects’ staffing plans, timelines, budgets, billing, and collections in Deltek and report/communicate information to Studio Leader.
Coordinate with internal senior leadership, external project team(s), and consultants to ensure project completion in compliance with design intent.
Develop and document design concepts for projects as a production team member.
Create design presentations, mood boards, and material boards/binders to help convey look and feel of design concepts to clients.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in architecture, interiors or design.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, interior design or relevant field.
Knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork design, FF&E and OS&E preferred.
Registered Architect preferred.
Experience in F&B and restaurant design required; hospitality design experience highly preferred.
Experience with all project phases (Concept through Construction Administration), including built work.
Strong balance of technical expertise and conceptual design skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud; Revit preferred.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, ability to meet fast‑paced deadlines.
Highly motivated self‑starter with attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for working on multi‑disciplinary and highly collaborative teams.
