Responsibilities
Create shop drawings for custom commercial kitchen equipment, including floor plans, elevations and other specifications.
Solid 3D modeling required; background in sheet metal is a plus.
Design custom stainless steel equipment that meets specific customer and industry requirements.
Manage large assemblies consisting of sheet metal, parts, sub‑assemblies, hardware and imported files.
Assist in establishing better modeling skills, software training and improvement for other Design Engineers.
Draft complex parts and assemblies with mechanical design/integration skills.
Manage large CAD assemblies and associated drawings.
Use PDM Product Management Database.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics per product per project.
Perform solid 3D modeling using Siemens SolidEdge for sheet metal.
Design CAD models per customer specifications and order sheet.
Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver requested drafts for customer review.
Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Product procurement, DXF drawings for a laser cutter and bends, and drafted electrical drawings.
Troubleshoot and adapt model files from CAD library to meet customer specifications.
Knowledge of GD&T for manufacturing sheet metal.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Oviedo, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr. Earn the following benefits:
