Fire Sprinkler Systems Designer – Gainesville, FL
Gator Fire Equipment Company is a leading provider of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, backflow, extinguisher and kitchen suppression installation, service and maintenance.
Salary Base pay range: $29.00/hr – $48.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Job Overview This full‑time on‑site role involves developing comprehensive fire sprinkler system designs, preparing accurate design layouts using AutoSprink and Revit, conducting system testing, researching compliance with local, state, and national safety codes, and collaborating with team members and clients to meet project deadlines and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities • Design and layout development for fire sprinkler systems. • Use of AutoSprink and Revit software for detailed plans. • System testing and verification of code compliance. • Coordination with engineering team and clients to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications
Experience in systems design for fire sprinkler systems.
Strong research skills and knowledge of applicable NFPA standards.
Basic understanding of electronics and their application in fire sprinkler systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Gainesville, FL.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
Expected hours: 40–45/week, Monday–Friday.
