Architectural Designer
Location: Clemmons, NC (On-site only)
About The Role Our client is seeking an Architectural Designer to support custom post-and-beam residential and light commercial projects. This is an on-site role within our Design & Technical Services Department.
Requirements
Degree in architectural design or related technical field (license not required)
5+ years in residential and/or light commercial architectural design
Direct client interaction experience required
Qualifications
Strong computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work with engineers and building officials nationwide
Knowledge of building codes, coastal construction, elevated structures, and wind loads
No travel required
Schedule Must be available to meet deadlines and attend key meetings. Occasional Saturdays or early evenings.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients, sales, and project teams to develop building designs
Work with the CADD Manager to organize and coordinate architectural drawings and shop details
Collaborate with outside engineers, building officials, and contract partners
Compensation Starting at $70,000+, based on experience and qualifications.
