Your Next Opportunity The Audio Visual Assistant Project Manager is an entry‑level project‑management position. You will learn and develop competency in essential duties while providing administrative and construction support to our Project Management team.
What You’ll Do
Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs (Return for Information), and meeting minutes.
Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, such as planning, coordinating, and resolving problem areas, while ensuring all company and project policies are maintained.
Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs. Prepare logs and other documentation for construction meetings.
Ensure accurate and timely contract submittals.
Create and issue subcontractor contracts.
Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Follow the project quality control plan.
Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and drawings for manuals.
Update the Warranty Log.
Attend project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and provide project‑management support.
Assist field personnel in the area of responsibility.
Monitor other contractors’ activities and progress.
Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
Prepare price change orders, project reports, and documentation.
Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.
Execute additional duties as assigned by the business unit.

Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and follow‑up skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle preferred.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
Oral and written communication skills.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
Professional interaction with all levels of employees, management, vendors, clients, and others.
What You Bring To Us
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction‑related role (or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience).
Travel Up to 25% traveling may be required.
Working Conditions
Primarily on active construction sites: includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; conducted indoors with varying environmental conditions.
Typical noise level: low to medium.
Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Fully complies with ADA and applicable state law, including reasonable accommodations.
