Description
Dallas Market Center is seeking an Advertising Salesperson to join our team. You will sell print, online, sponsorship and all other advertising products offered by the company. You will also manage correspondence (e-mail, voicemail/traditional mail), sales/production materials and billing correspondence.
Sells advertising space including, but not limited to print/on-line publications, sponsorships and all web-based products via phone, broadcast fax, internet and face-to-face meetings with current and prospective customers.
Manages correspondence between internal/external customers via electronic and written correspondence
Creates and distributes sales materials and billing materials
Proofs advertising materials to meet design and copy standards
Prepares and approves invoices; helps in collection of payments
Produces weekly sales reports, responsible for quality control of advertising sales
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
Required Experience
5+ years of professional sales experience; advertising sales experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Ability to provide tangible examples of improving efficiency and increasing profitability
