Overview
Join TSMC Arizona as a Hookup Tool Design BIM Technician on a fixed‑term contract in Phoenix, AZ. You will help design and coordinate tool layouts, manage BIM models, and support global fabrication projects.
Responsibilities
Use BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam) to create accurate 3D models and spatial layouts for tool design projects.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and facility teams (ISEP, IT, AMHS) across TSMC facilities worldwide.
Conduct field observations, verify on‑site conditions against 3D models, and ensure tool requirements are met.
Assist in refining design workflows to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times while maintaining quality standards.
Track tasks, report progress, and raise issues to management as needed.
Perform clash detection with Navisworks and resolve coordination issues across disciplines.
Maintain detailed design documents in accordance with project standards and company protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Familiarity with BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks); certifications are a plus.
Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor fabrication, or general construction environments.
Strong willingness to learn and grow; good interpersonal and communication skills.
English proficiency required (Mandarin, German, Japanese a plus).
Proactive attitude, problem‑solving skills, and eagerness to pursue advanced training.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or related certification; military or trade school diploma is a plus.
Prior experience in semiconductor fabrication or high‑tech construction projects.
Certification in CAD or BIM software tools.
Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
Knowledge of construction workflows, building codes, and standards.
Basic programming or automation tool skills (optional).
Physical Requirements
Extended hours in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Accept exposure to industrial chemicals, noise, and strong visual or olfactory stimuli.
Work Location & Travel 5088 W. Innovation Circle, Phoenix, AZ 85083. Candidates must be able to work on‑site. International travel may be required for global projects.
