We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented and self‑motivated Junior LMS Content Specialist to assist in the migration of school courses from source files into the
Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) . This course material includes detailed weekly lessons, assessments, and images. This role is essential to ensure the course is accurately and professionally presented to students on the Canvas platform. Upon completion, further contract/projects for other courses and/or a full‑time position may be discussed based on performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
LMS Proficiency:
Prior experience working with and uploading content into a major Learning Management System (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.).
Direct Canvas experience is a significant advantage.
Attention to Detail:
Exceptional focus on accuracy, particularly with mathematical notation, formatting, and file integrity.
Technical Familiarity:
Basic understanding of Markdown syntax is helpful, and familiarity with LaTeX/MathJax for mathematical typesetting.
Time Management:
Ability to manage a fixed‑term project, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Language:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Location:
Candidates based in India are strongly encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
A background or familiarity with high school or college‑level mathematics (Precalculus, Algebra, Calculus) is helpful, though not strictly required.
Experience with advanced text editors or tools for bulk content processing is a plus.
A degree or certification in the Education field is a plus.
Previous experience in course content creation is a plus.
