Job Description EGAN|SIMON architecture is seeking for a full-time Architectural Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team and work directly with Project Managers and Principals in overseeing the design, production and administration of all aspect of projects. This position will require strong management and organizational skills, and the ability to work with a creative team, lead in the production of construction documentation details, and support projects through construction.

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Manager and Principals, all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient project delivery with an emphasis on design excellence.

Drawing Production (computer-aided or manual) of project designs in line with office standards in coordination with the immediate supervisor and/or Principal Architect.

Responsible for providing innovative design solutions in relation to a holistic building design.

Responsible for production management including compliance with project schedules, programs, communications, documentation, and project team assignments within established office protocols.

Coordinate work product with clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet project goals.

Implement materials specification and technical details.

Responsible for the delivery high-quality construction documents.

Permitting and agency coordination as needed.

Provide architectural quality control on presentation material and drawing sets.

Job Requirements

A degree from an accredited Bachelor or Master of Architecture Program.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in an Architectural office.

Architectural License preferred but not required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Organized, precise and attentive to detail.

Basic Knowledge of Codes and Agency Processing.

Construction Documents and Contract Administration phase experience required.

AutoCAD proficiency, Revit proficiency preferred but not required.

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (Rendering skills a plus).

Knowledge in Microsoft office, including Microsoft project.

Ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently.

Advanced presentation and graphic communication skills.
