as a Senior Analyst in the Strategic Analytics & Content Optimization team, a critical part of the NBCU Decision Sciences organization. The role supports major strategic initiatives across Peacock, NBC, and Bravo by turning data insights into tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Query and analyze complex datasets to develop actionable insights that enable decision‑making across NBCU/Peacock.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into analytical projects.

Apply a range of analytics and data science techniques—from descriptive to prescriptive—to solve data problems.

Support standard reporting needs, including dashboard development, to provide visibility into the health of the NBCU/Peacock business.

Lead ad‑hoc analyses to answer critical time‑sensitive business questions and identify strategic opportunities.

Provide proactive, longer‑term business insights and formulate business cases using consumer and industry trends.

Communicate findings through visuals and narratives for operational and executive audiences.

Contribute to a high‑performing, collaborative analytics team that promotes data‑driven decision‑making.

Support a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at Peacock.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

2+ years’ experience with querying and analyzing large, complex data sets, data visualization, and storytelling.

Proficient in SQL, BigQuery, Databricks, Python, Tableau, or equivalent tools.

Strong Microsoft Office skills with significant experience in Excel and PowerPoint.

Attention to data quality and ability to troubleshoot inconsistencies.

Understanding of entertainment industry trends and their impact on consumer behavior across Linear, Streaming, and FAST platforms.

Strategic thinker who can derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data.

Ability to articulate clear, actionable stories and recommendations from diverse data sources.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in consulting or related media, entertainment, or digital industry roles.

Experience with customer segmentation and KPI reporting.

Knowledge of data science techniques.

Familiarity with Nielsen data.

Understanding of analytics for direct‑to‑consumer businesses such as video streaming or eCommerce.

Self‑starter with strong attention to detail, curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes.

Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Team‑oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.

Additional Responsibilities

Hybrid : Requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week (four days starting January 5, 2026).

Position eligible for company‑sponsored benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range: $85,000 – $115,000.
