The Director of Communications for the CEO is responsible for leading the strategy, voice, and execution of the CEO’s social media accounts and her show, Real Talk.
This role requires extensive, hands-on experience managing high-profile social accounts , with ownership of content strategy, posting cadence, creative direction, performance analysis, and audience growth. The ideal candidate understands conservative culture, knows what performs across platforms, and blends creative storytelling with data-driven strategy to build and engage values-driven digital communities. Duties and Responsibilities
Identify trending news stories and cultural moments quickly, and produce timely content that connects the moment to PragerU’s mission and message Develop both daily reactive content based on breaking news and trends, as well as planned content tied to ongoing campaigns and major initiatives Collaborate with internal teams to align social media content with broader campaign goals and maintain consistent messaging and visual style Track performance metrics, test new formats, and continuously refine content strategy to expand reach and increase audience impact Manage and prioritize media opportunities for the CEO, coordinating with press, producers, and internal stakeholders Manage, mentor, and oversee in-house content creator(s), providing clear direction, feedback, and prioritization to ensure timely, high-quality output Develop and oversee the CEO’s public voice and narrative across media appearances, speeches, op‑eds, social platforms, and internal communications Draft and edit speeches, talking points, statements, and written content on behalf of the CEO Prepare the CEO for high‑stakes media engagements, including interviews, debates, panels, and crisis response Direct the development of CEO-facing social media strategy, including tone, positioning, cadence, and engagement priorities Successful Candidates Will Possess
7‑10+ years of experience in content creation, social media platform management, or digital marketing, with a portfolio that showcases strong storytelling across formats. Exceptional narrative skills with the ability to turn current events and cultural moments into compelling, timely content that aligns with and advances PragerU’s mission, values, and content library. Strong hands‑on video editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, and Canva to create polished, engaging social content. Excellent writing abilities and platform‑savvy voice, adaptable across X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more. A self‑starter mindset with the ability to move fast, make smart editorial decisions, and deliver high‑quality content with minimal oversight. Track performance metrics, test new formats, and continuously refine content strategy to expand reach and increase audience impact. The salary target for this role is $100,000 – $160,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
