The Innovation & Implementation division has a need for a Technical Writer/Analyst. The IT division is responsible for multiple stages of the ITIL lifecycle to ensure projects and changes are successfully delivered. Service Strategy aligns IT with business goals to ensure services offered support the business objectives. Service Design entails building systems conceptually through architecture, processes, policies, and documentation that will enable services to meet the needs of the agency. Service Transition carefully guides the planning, implementation and User Acceptance Testings, and Continual Service Improvement enhances IT service quality and efficiency. Projects Managers ensure IT projects are deployed successfully.

This position is responsible for analyzing and documenting information to support IT. The position utilizes specialized knowledge of the Department’s mission, objectives, and programs to develop various documents from technical design to Standard Operating Procedures. The Technical Writer/Analyst reviews and edits materials for proper use of terminology, style, direction, content, grammar, punctuation and clarity; designs layout format. This position manages documents through the review, editing, and approval processes and coordinates their storage in a designated library location.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences*** Ability to effectively convey information to a varied audience (technical/nontechnical).* Strong time management skills for self and others.* Requires strong analysis skills to analyzing information and use logic to address work-related* Ability to work with customers as a member of cross-divisional work groups and maintain positive and productive relationships with customers, peers, and superiors.Recruitment Range: $54,657 - $81,986***Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.
