Key job responsibilities
Drive creative excellence by managing high-profile marketing campaigns for Amazon Original Series
Lead multiple video production projects from concept to completion
Collaborate with top-tier creative teams and industry professionals
Oversee budgets and schedules for multi-faceted marketing campaigns
Build deep relationships by interfacing with various stakeholders across marketing, creative, legal, and international teams
A day in the life
As part of the Amazon MGM Studios core creative marketing team, this role partners with the key stakeholders involved in crafting the traditional A/V materials on a marketing campaign for series and film projects such as trailers, tv spots, audio streaming assets, etc. They partner with many cross-functional teammates, stakeholders, and external/internal vendors acting as a main point of communication and streamlined hand off. They create a strategic production plan for various assets and lead the execution - schedules, budgets and status are key focus day-to-day.
About the team
The A/V team sits within the creative services department and partners closely with the creative, campaign management, and A/V finishing teams. We have a mix of skills from creative problem solving and design to logistics and technical knowledge. We rely on our deep industry relationships to accomplish a high volume of work at a fast pace and at times under pressure. Most of our projects are high security, so discretion and security protocols are crucial.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of creative services experience Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio Experience leading process improvements or operations tool implementations (e.g. digital asset management tool) Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teams Experience with image production, transfer protocols, digital asset management and publishing content for web 7+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience Technical knowledge of specs, formats and placements as well as audio, picture, graphics, editorial, conform, and VFX pipelines Experience managing post production timelines and budgets Knowledge of A/V formats and the fundamentals of asset management, in theater deliverables (DCP), servicing, and trafficking Experience managing and delivering large volume of video assets to external partners Expertise in post‑production, VFX, audio mixing, and motion graphics Preferred Qualifications
