Responsibilities
Communicate case planning throughout lab departments
Coordinate and participate in CAD/CAM processes - scanning, designing, manufacturing
Operate manufacturing equipment including milling machines, 3D printers, and sintering ovens
Meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations
Read work prescriptions and examine cases to determine design of dental restoration
Fabricate crowns, bridges, and inlays/onlays
Read, interpret and design dental restorations to client's specifications by using a dental CAD software program
Communicate with clear and concise oral and written skills to effectively work with technicians and doctors
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Crown and Bridge Design in CAD/CAM technology
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) and three to five years related experience in the fabrication of crowns, bridges, and inlays/onlays is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with 3Shape, Nobel, Exocad, and other desktop scanners and software
Knowledge of CAD/CAM processes (i.e. Scanning, Designing, Manufacturing)
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment including milling machines, 3D printers, and sintering ovens
Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
Experience in regulated environment preferred
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must work together and communicate with all other departments throughout the lab.
