Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a talented and motivated Programmatic Photo Producer to join our Photo Library Team. As a Programmatic Photo Producer, you will support photo workflows for original and acquired productions, assist creative teams, and help ensure high-quality visual assets are delivered on time and within budget for marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Photo Workflow Management: Coordinate photo requests from cross‑functional teams, manage asset delivery timelines, and create specialized photo edits for marketing campaigns across multiple concurrent projects.
Photo Production: Assist in coordinating photo shoots for original series and movies marketing campaigns, supporting alignment with creative vision and production schedules.
Budget Assistance: Support the Lead Photo Producer in tracking production budgets, schedules, and helping coordinate with campaign management teams for cost‑effective asset delivery.
Frame Grab Production: Pull frames from video content, create technical edits and color corrections, perform quality control, and manage frame grab workflows from request through final delivery.
Photo Editing & Curation: Create curated photo collections from production photography and frame grabs, review and select images that align with creative vision and marketing strategy, and organize assets for stakeholder review and approval.
Approval Coordination: Prepare approval materials, track feedback and manage revisions, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage approval timelines and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
Asset Organization: Apply comprehensive metadata and tagging to ensure searchability and compliance, maintain quality control standards across all assets, and coordinate with vendors on asset delivery and workflow.
Quality Control & Delivery: Review deliverables to ensure quality standards are met, prepare final assets for distribution, and coordinate delivery following established protocols.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, support implementation of new tools and technologies, and collaborate with teams to enhance efficiency across the photo production pipeline.
Basic Qualifications
Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast‑moving environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Film Production, Media Arts, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of experience in photo production or related creative production roles.
Experience with asset management systems and photo editing workflows.
Strong photo editing and curation skills.
Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams.
Technical aptitude with ability to learn new systems and troubleshoot issues.
Self‑starter that can work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in entertainment industry photo production or marketing campaigns with knowledge of photography techniques and visual storytelling principles.
Proficiency with photo editing software and experience with video frame extraction and technical photo editing.
Experience working with entertainment industry partners and understanding of industry compliance requirements.
Experience in production coordination, file management best practices, and workflow optimization.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and experience with process improvement initiatives.
Ability to work across teams and synthesize input from creative stakeholders.
