Job Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Drafter-Landscape Design to join our team! Bring your creativity and technical expertise to projects that shape the nation’s landscapes.
Parsons is seeking a CAD Drafter-Landscape Design with at least 4 years of experience and strong MicroStation and CAD proficiency to join our growing Landscape Architecture team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and designers on transformative infrastructure projects across a diverse range of climates and geographies across the US.

What You’ll Be Doing
Set up and manage CAD workspaces, sheet sets, and drawing standards for efficient project delivery.
Prepare and edit plan sheets, details, sections, and exhibits following company and client CAD standards.
Support quality control reviews, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all drawing packages.
Coordinate with landscape architects, engineers, and other design disciplines to maintain drawing alignment.
Convert, manage, and reference data across AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ProjectWise environments.
Troubleshoot CAD-related issues, resolve file conflicts, and proactively improve workflows.
Maintain drawing logs, version control, and file organization to support efficient project collaboration.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
4+ years of related experience
Proficiency in MicroStation/ORD
Proficiency with ProjectWise, SharePoint, Microsoft Office
Detail-driven, collaborative, and proactive—able to anticipate needs and deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
Associate’s Degree 2-year technical degree (or equivalent) is preferred
Experience with transportation, infrastructure, or large-scale site design
Understanding of landscape standards, planting design, and construction documentation for public sector projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Security Clearance Requirement None. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
Salary Range $26.25 - $45.96
