The Senior Lead Architectural Designer is responsible for working underneath the supervision of Architects and Engineers to assist in the drafting and design of buildings and other structures and mentoring interns. The Senior Architectural Designer will have three main customers: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.

Assists with preparing reports, studies, and graphics using common software
Guides and oversees the team to achieve the correct technical solutions to difficult design and client problems as well as mentoring interns and junior members of project teams
Performs duties of Autodesk Building Systems Software operator as needed
Coordinates and reviews architectural drawings and models for completeness, constructability and coordination
Collaborates with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications
Understands Standard Installation Details, client BIM standards, industry drafting and design standards
Maintains primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing engineering responsibility
Other duties as assigned

Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Master’s in Architecture preferred
10+ years of experience
Preferred
LEED® AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred
Previous experience with large projects helpful, but not necessary
Executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building Systems Software
