Music Therapist
to join our team!
Type: Per Diem 1099 Independent Contractor
Specialty: Providing therapeutic music sessions to individuals and groups, helping children/youth feel empowered in their creativity, control, and aid in communicating their feelings during the stressful time of a chronic condition or life‑threatening illness and the trauma that often accompanies treatment.
Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions
Tailor therapeutic programs to meet the needs of patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and progress
Foster a supportive and engaging environment for clients to explore music as a tool for healing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy or related field
Experience working with medically fragile patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for helping others through music
Rate: $50 per hour
