As the Community Manager at Woodlake, you will be entrusted with the full operational performance of one of our premier multifamily assets. You will enforce policies and procedures, uphold GIT standards, maintain strong occupancy, develop staff, and cultivate a welcoming, well-managed community. The ideal candidate is personable and professional yet firm when needed, with the ability to motivate and unify a team while confidently managing residents, vendors, and complex situations.

Responsibilities Manage all daily property operations, including but not limited to:
Interviewing, hiring, and training staff (as applicable)
Supervising office and maintenance teams
Conducting regular team meetings to train, guide, and review performance
Fostering a positive, motivational, and safe work environment
Conducting performance reviews as needed
Monitoring property appearance and curb appeal
Managing rent collections
Ensuring timely, accurate completion of work orders and unit turns
Assisting with development of annual budgets and monthly variance reports
Preparing operational reports as required
Maintaining high occupancy and market-appropriate rental rates
Promoting strong resident satisfaction and a positive community reputation
Qualifications & Requirements
Must live near Escondido, CA, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Minimum 40 hours per week onsite; occasional after-hours or emergency response required
2+ years as a Community/Property Manager
3+ years of multifamily property management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Yardi
Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
Strong ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, and multitask with urgency
Flexibility with work schedule as needed
English fluency
