Mon‑Fri, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week. Weekend work may be required for large events. Duties & Responsibilities

The Audiovisual Production Specialist will support audiovisual needs on the New York State Fairgrounds. Responsibilities include managing production goals, coordinating event and conference production, maintaining raw footage filing systems, and supervising staff assigned to production activities. Minimum Qualifications

• Five years of practical experience operating audiovisual production equipment (video cameras, lighting, microphones, non‑linear video editing software) and responsibility for creating and maintaining digital files for broadcasts, web presentations, videos, and CD/DVD/Blu‑Rays. • Associate degree substitutes for two years of specialized experience; bachelor’s degree substitutes for four years; master’s degree substitutes for five years; doctorate substitutes for six years. Alternate & Transfer Qualifications

Eligible candidates may be appointed permanently if they meet one of the following: Current Department of Agriculture and Markets employee with one year of permanent, contingent‑permanent, or 55 b/c service as an Audiovisual Production Specialist, SG‑15. One year of permanent, competitive service in a transferable title under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, plus four years of practical experience and a bachelor’s degree in video and/or film production. Previous permanent New York State employee who resigned and may be reinstated within one year of separation. Benefits
