Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect
Job Requirements MHS has an immediate opening for a Landscape Designer in our Dallas office. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general landscape architecture tasks in support of our Landscape Architecture Team on various designs for Public Spaces, Parks and Sports Complexes throughout Texas.
Job Duties
Perform landscape architectural and urban design assignments. Assist will all phases of design development for projects in various stages of completion.
Assists in conducting preliminary studies to obtain information as a site program, design requirements, landscape and building materials, obtaining measurements, and prepare preliminary sketches to explore design options.
Compiles data, performs basic computations and prepare working drawing on projects of limited scope.
Assist in compiling data for landscape architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.
Assist in the preparation of design development and construction drawings.
Requirements
0-5 years of experience.
Ability to work at a multi-discipline company in a collaborative project team setting.
A desire to grow professionally in a small company environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from accredited program.
Working knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD and 3D Modeling/Rendering, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
Strong interest in outdoor recreation design.
