Associate Producer – UE5 (Sports / Action / Simulation Games)

Refactor Games is a AAA sports video game studio. We are developing the next generation of professional football (soccer) video games using Unreal Engine 5.

We are looking for an Atlassian-adept, Scrum-savvy Associate Producer to help coordinate with the team’s pod leads as we plan, track, and deliver features on schedule. In addition to serving as a vision keeper on product quality, you’ll coordinate between departments, maintain clear communication, and ensure development stays aligned with project goals.

Experience

• 3+ years developing games for console and/or PC, ideally in sports or competitive multiplayer.
• At least 1 shipped high-quality football (soccer) title or a similar sports game.

What You’ll Do

• Track progress across feature teams and surface dependencies early.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure clear communication and smooth collaboration.
• Identify and resolve production risks and blockers impacting milestones or delivery.
• Partner with leadership to align schedules and deliverables with overall project goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Support process improvements that enhance efficiency and team sustainability.
• Provide clear progress reporting and maintain visibility on timelines and priorities.
• Foster accountability, focus, and team health throughout development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in game production or project management.
• Experience developing games for console and/or PC (sports or multiplayer preferred).
• At least one shipped title in a production or coordination role.
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile project management experience.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 workflows and pipelines.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, timelines, and priorities effectively.
